THE CHALLENGE
This client is one of the top three of the largest US based telecommunications companies. This company went through a comprehensive site migration and redesign without attention to how those changes would impact their SEO efforts. Following this migration and redesign, this site was losing 40% monthly traffic, over the course of five months, when Janet Bartoli began SEO work.

THE IDEA
The SEO work began with a full crawl of the site to uncover any significant technical issues causing this massive traffic decline. a list of prioritized issues, URL analysis to determine redirects, etc was compiled and prioritized to share with client's development team to implement. New content recommendations were made to improve discoverability of specific non-branded keywords, as well as a full content analysis to improve crawl efficiency site-wide.
the results
Within just eight weeks of implementing these changes, the client's site saw immediate increases in traffic growth. Within just six months this site reversed the channel distribution, from paid traffic providing the majority of all revenue generating traffic to organic providing the most revenue generating traffic to the site, going from 11% to 30% traffic share, while experiencing a dramatically improved search engine indexation of the site's content and keywords associated with the company's services and offering.
